LA RONGE, Sask. - A soldier helping to fight wildfires in northern Saskatchewan became lost on Monday when he went into the woods for some privacy.

Brig.-Gen. Wayne Eyre says the soldier was heeding Mother Nature's call when he got turned around on the fire lines near La Ronge.

Eyre says a search began minutes after the soldier disappeared.

The Edmonton-based military member was found safe six hours later.

Eyre says the only thing that was hurt was the soldier's pride.
