CIS Roundup: Mills throws 2 TDs, Carleton beats Ottawa to capture Panda Game

OTTAWA - Jesse Mills threw a pair of touchdowns passes to Nathaniel Behar as the Carleton Ravens downed the Ottawa Gee-Gees 43-23 to capture the 48th Panda Game.

It was one of several rivalry and homecoming games around CIS football on Saturday.

Mills finished 20-of-32 passing for 263 yards and an interception for No. 10 Carleton (4-2), which handed the No. 7 Gee-Gees their first loss of the season (4-1).

Tunde Adeleke put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter when he ran back a punt 120 yards for a touchdown.

"That was more or less the dagger right there but there were other things that were tell-tale prior to that," said Gee-Gees head coach Jamie Barresi. "We're much better than this — we've shown it before and I have higher expectations."

Jayde Rowe added a running TD for the Ravens and finished the game with 130 yards on 27 carries.

Michael Domagala converted 4-of-5 field goals with his longest coming from 40 yards in front of 23,329 at TD Place.

Ottawa's Derek Wendel completed 32-of-48 passes for 339 yards, one touchdown and an interception.
