Hamilton Tiger-Cats sign American running back Cameron Marshall to deal

HAMILTON - The Hamilton Tiger-Cats signed American running back Cameron Marshall on Tuesday.

The five-foot-11, 215-pound Marshall appeared in three games last season with the Saskatchewan Roughriders. He registered 220 yards rushing on 34 carries while adding three catches for 32 yards.

Marshall, 27, spent two seasons with Saskatchewan (2017-18) after starting his CFL career with Winnipeg (2014-15). In 32 career games Marshall has run for 1,392 yards on 278 carries with seven TDs.

He's also registered 65 receptions for 690 yards and four TDs.

Previously, Marshall spent time in the NFL with the Miami Dolphins (2013-14), Seattle Seahawks (2016) and Jacksonville Jaguars (2016). He played collegiately at Arizona State University.

LIONS SIGN TRIO

The B.C. Lions have signed American defensive linemen Ricarlo Bell, Whitney Richardson and Albert Havili.

The six-foot-three, 240-pound Bell spent last season with the Cedar Rapids Titans of the Indoor Football League and was named the league's top defensive rookie. He registered 36 tackles, seven sacks, 14 tackles for loss, four forced fumbles and two fumble recoveries.

The six-foot-four, 250-pound Richardson joins the Lions after appearing at the Los Angeles Chargers training camp in 2017 and 2018. The six-foot-two, 280-pound Havili was at the Buffalo Bills' camp last year.
