TORONTO - Laval Rouge et Or defensive lineman Mathieu Betts has held onto the No. 1 spot in the CFL's Scouting Bureau's final rankings for the 2019 draft.

The Montreal native helped the Rouge et Or win the Vanier Cup last year. He became the first player in history to claim the J.P. Metras Trophy for top lineman in Canadian university football three times.

The top three positions in the rankings did not change.

Oklahoma State offensive lineman Shane Richards of Calgary is second and Arkansas State wide receiver Justin McInnis of Pierrefonds, Que., is third.

Northern Colorado offensive lineman Zach Wilkinson of Vancouver made the biggest jump, leaping to fourth from 17th.

Connecticut wide receiver Hergy Mayala of Montreal rounds out the top five.

UBC's Michael O'Connor of Orleans, Ont., is the lone quarterback on the list at No. 17.

The rankings, featuring the top 20 draft-eligible players, are released in September, December and April.

The CFL draft is May 2.
