Receiver Cory Watson's injuries have limited his ability to deliver

WINNIPEG - Winnipeg Blue Bombers coach Mike O'Shea says at some point he will take a look at what receiver Cory Watson does in the off-season to see if there's a way to reduce the injuries the Canadian receiver has suffered.

But O'Shea says Watson plays football the way it should be played and sometimes there are ramifications.

Watson was practising with the team this week for the first time since he injured a hamstring on Day 1 of training camp.

He says he has studied film and will be able to get his timing down with the team's quarterbacks.

But getting his conditioning back up to game level is his big challenge right now as the Bombers prepare to open the season at home June 26 by hosting the Toronto Argonauts.

Last season he missed seven games due to injury but still managed to catch 36 passes for 516 yards.
