BOSTON - The Latest on a parade in Boston to celebrate the New England Patriots' sixth Super Bowl title (all times local):

5:55 p.m.

Authorities say a dozen people were arrested at the New England Patriots' championship parade through Boston.

Police Sgt. John Boyle says that seven of those arrested Tuesday during the team's Super Bowl victory ride through downtown were juveniles and that many charges were alcohol-related.

Five of those arrested were involved in a brawl near the end of the parade route. Boyle says that there were no major injuries reported and that the fight happened mid-afternoon after the parade had ended.

Police say it was one of the largest crowds Boston has seen for a championship parade. Boyle declined to estimate the number.

Boston's triumphant Super Bowl victory parade is a wrap.

Hundreds of thousands of cheering fans packed the streets to watch the New England Patriots roll through downtown, celebrating their sixth NFL championship.

Organizers expected as many as 1 million people to turn out for Tuesday's parade.

Security was tight, and police took away several fans who appeared intoxicated, including one man on a stretcher.

The Patriots defeated the Los Angeles Rams 13-3 to win the Super Bowl on Sunday.

Boston has become a giant street party as the city celebrates the New England Patriots' sixth Super Bowl win.

Hundreds of thousands of jubilant fans are packing downtown as the team is being paraded through the city. Red, white and blue confetti is raining down as giddy players and their families wave from atop open-roofed vehicles.

Game MVP Julian Edelman is fist-pumping, star tight end Rob Gronkowski is busting out his dance moves, and quarterback Tom Brady is sharing the moment with his young children. And the huge crowd is roaring as the procession passes by.

Organizers say more than 1 million people were expected to turn out for Tuesday's parade on a sunny, unseasonably warm day.

Tom Brady and the New England Patriots are taking a victory lap through downtown Boston.

Hundreds of thousands of fans are lining the streets, cheering wildly as the city's World War II-era amphibious "duck boats" carry players, coaches and their families through central Boston.

Security is tight, but the atmosphere is carefree in a city celebrating its second major sports championship in just four months. In October, Boston staged a similar parade to fete the Red Sox after they won their fourth World Series title in 15 years.

Quarterback Brady held his pigtailed daughter, Vivian, on an open-roofed duck boat as they grinned and waved to the crowd.

Fans celebrating the New England Patriots' sixth Super Bowl title say winning never gets old — and it never feels like enough.

Lauren Mills is among the hundreds of thousands of cheering fans lining the streets of Boston early Tuesday to catch a glimpse of the team being paraded through downtown.

Mills says she's thrilled at the Patriots' record-tying sixth NFL championship, and she wants quarterback Tom Brady to win rings for his other four fingers.

Organizers are expecting more than 1 million people to turn out for the victory parade.

Team members and their families were being bused into the city, where they'll board several of Boston's iconic World War II-era amphibious "duck boats."

Tens of thousands of giddy fans are converging on Boston for a parade celebrating the New England Patriots' sixth Super Bowl title.

The parade kicks off Tuesday morning at the Hynes Convention Center. It will rumble roughly 2 miles (3 kilometres) past the Boston Common and other landmarks before ending at City Hall.

As is tradition, the team will ride through downtown on World War II-era amphibious "duck boat" vehicles.

Officials expect more than 1 million attendees, and early trains and subways were jammed. Weather is expected to be unseasonably warm with temperatures above 50 degrees Fahrenheit (10 degrees Celsius).

Mayor Marty Walsh warns fans not to throw anything. Errant beer cans slightly damaged the Red Sox World Series trophy last year.
