FORT ST. JOHN, B.C. - Two pedestrians were struck and killed Wednesday night in Fort St. John, B.C.

Police say a 26-year-old man and a 31-year-woman were pronounced dead at the scene.

The RCMP say a few hours later a suspect they believe was involved in the crash surrendered to police and a vehicle was seized.

The Mounties say both people who were killed were from Fort St. John, but their names won't be released by police.
