Environment Canada is calling for a smoky day tomorrow, July 14, in Kamloops and the Okanagan.
That has been in the forecast for the past few days as the region went through a mix of sun and cloud with some thunderstorms.
The same is in the forecast for today, with a 40% chance of showers or thundershowers this afternoon in Kamloops, 30% in the Okanagan, with highs ranging from 29 Celsius to 31 C.
Friday is forecast to be warmer, reaching 33 C in Kamloops tomorrow and every day through the weekend.
The Okanagan is forecast to reach 32 C tomorrow, 34 C on Saturday and 33 C on Sunday.
It’s expected to be sunny in Kamloops and the Okanagan through the weekend with no smoke listed in the forecast.
Next week looks to be returning to a mix of sun and cloud with a chance of showers and temperatures below 30 C, especially on Monday.
