Elusive bull located amongst other cattle

KAMLOOPS -  The missing bull that has been impossible to catch has been located in Knutsford.

Police finally found the missing 1,400 pound bull today, Sep. 2, who was last seen going into Knutsford pasture with other cattle, according to Kamloops RCMP Staff Sergeant Robert Daly.

"He's amongst other cattle and as long and he's up in the ranchlands he isn't posing a risk to the public anymore," says Staff Sergeant Robert Daly. "At this point, he is away from people and the public is safe."

As long as the bull remains in the pasture, the owner and conservation officers can try to capture him. If he stays contained and doesn't pose a threat to public safety the bull is no longer a concern for the RCMP.

The bull was able to elude police and conservation officers for a week as he explored Dallas, Summit Dr, and Albert McGowan Park before he was seen heading towards Knutsford.

RCMP did not know whether the owner of the bull was working with conservation to retrieve him.
