Driver’s body recovered from Similkameen River near Princeton
A vehicle wound up in the Similkameen River near Princeton this afternoon and the driver didn't survive.
Emergency crews were called to the crash at around 12:26 p.m., June 26, according to an RCMP media release.
The driver was extracted from the vehicle by Princeton Road Rescue personnel.
RCMP said the driver was pronounced dead at the scene and the cause of the crash is being investigated.
Police haven't released the identity of the deceased.
