SUN PEAKS - A two-day music festival coming to Sun Peaks Resort will feature two big-name Canadian music acts.

Music in the Mountains will take place on Aug. 25 and Aug. 26, featuring a weekend of free outdoor concerts including headliners Dan Mangan and Bedouin Soundclash.

Mangan is a two-time Juno award winner, and he'll be in Sun Peaks Aug. 24, kicking off the weekend at 6 p.m. The Vancouver-based artist has released four studio albums including Nice, Nice, Very Nice and Oh Fortune.

Bedouin Soundclash will take the stage Sunday afternoon, Aug. 26, at 1 p.m. Their hit songs include When the Night Feels My Song and Walls Fall Down. After a seven-year hiatus, the band re-emerged earlier this year.
