Creepy crawler turns B.C. traffic camera into spider-cam
A spider decided today was the the perfect day to spin its web was in front of the lens of a highway monitoring camera on the highway between Whistler and Squamish.
The spider was spotted today, May 17, on the lens of the Drive B.C. camera on Highway 99, according to B.C. Transportation and Infrastructure.

“Our giant spider overlords are at it again,” the ministry warned on Facebook.
Spider-cam wasn’t the first creepy encounter for B.C.’s highway crews this week – yesterday it was reported that a Western Rattlesnake was stumbled upon on Highway 8 near Spences Bridge.
“The snake was successfully relocated to a safe zone away from the site and into an appropriate habitat,” B.C. Transportation and Infrastructure said on Facebook.
