Cops on hunt for suspect after break-in at Kamloops Halloween store

Police are looking to identify a man who broke into a store in downtown Kamloops and stole nearly a dozen walkie-talkies.

Around 5 a.m. on Sunday, Sept. 12, a man smashed a window at Spirit Halloween in the 400 block of Seymour Street to enter the store and police were later notified around 8:30 a.m., according to an RCMP press release.

The suspect left with nearly a dozen portable transmitters.

Police describe the suspect as a Caucasian man with short blond hair. He was wearing baggy pants which were seen to be falling down.

Anyone who recognizes the suspect or has information related to this investigation can contact the Kamloops RCMP at 250-828-3000 and reference file number 2021-31710.
