The Summerland Research and Development Centre held a Bake Sale Auction to fundraise towards their United Way workplace campaign.

Employees contributed baked goods and then bid against each other in an exciting live auction for the treats. The United Way CSO’s team also participated by donating treats and joining in the bidding.

In total, the group raised $927 towards their campaign, with some trays of cookies going for over $75!

Last year, their workplace campaign raised over $6,000 for United Way’s campaign. This year’s campaign ends January 31, 2017.

Funds are allocated to the United Way’s South Okanagan community investments in 2017.
