Yes, it is that time of year again. Light snow may dust the Coquihalla on Monday evening as a system from northern B.C. drops temperatures by eight or nine degrees over the weekend.

KAMLOOPS - The return of late summer-like weather to Kamloops this week will be short-lived, as showers and cooler temperatures creep back into the forecast for the upcoming weekend.
Environment Canada meteorologist Matt MacDonald says to expect both sunshine and cloud today, Sept. 27. Tomorrow is forecast to be mainly sunny with clouds rolling in on Saturday.
On Saturday evening, a disturbance from the north is expected to bring cooler air and a 40 per cent threat of showers on Sunday.
Daytime highs will trend downward starting with a high of 21 Celsius today. Friday is expected to be a couple of degrees cooler, with Saturday at 16 C and Sunday at 11 C.
Monday’s weather will be similar to Sunday’s, with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high only to 13 C. MacDonald says snow may fall on the Coquihalla Monday evening, Oct.1, which is coincidentally the first day of the season for winter tires on some B.C. highways.
MacDonald says drier conditions should return early next week.
