Chyzowski named to team Pacific for U-17 hockey challenge

KAMLOOPS - Kamloops Blazers’ forward Nick Chyzowski has been named to Team Pacific (B.C. / Alberta) and will participate in the 2014 World Under-17 Hockey Challenge to be held in Sydney, Nova Scotia December 29th until January 4th.

Chyzowski is in his first season with the Blazers after being selected in the second round of the 2012 WHL Bantam Draft. The 16-year-old forward has two goals and four points in 14 games this season with the Blazers.

The 10-team tournament has five regional teams in Canada including West (Saskatchewan / Manitoba), Ontario, Quebec and Atlantic (Maritime Provinces). The other five international teams include Czech Republic, Sweden, USA, Russia and Germany.
