SALMON ARM - A commercial truck driver was handed a ticket in connection with a Christmas Eve collision with a transit bus in Salmon Arm.

RCMP say at about 8:08 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 24, a Freightliner tractor truck and city bus collided at Highway 1 and Shuswap Street.

The bus driver was sent to hospital with a minor injury.

The truck driver was given a ticket under the Motor Vehicle Act.
