Christmas comes early to local charities

On November 25, Raymond James Ltd. is hosting the 3rd Annual Christmas in November Fundraising event benefitting the YMCA of Okanagan’s Strong Kids Campaign and the Central Okanagan Food Bank. Raymond James is a full service investment firm committed to giving back to those communities in which they serve.

The event will be held at the Laurel Packinghouse and will feature live performance art, gourmet carnival eats and beverages. Live performances throughout the evening include Cosmic Co-Motion, vocalist Kristal Hunter, the Femme Fatale Dance Crew and DJ Disco Dave.

“Both the YMCA and Food Bank support vulnerable populations in our communities, making it possible for everyone to access food, health and wellbeing,” says Rhonda Zakala, YMCA General Manager of Fund Development. “Charitable organizations rely on the generosity of corporate partners, like Raymond James, and others from our community to help us do the work we do. We can’t say enough about the impact these donor dollars will have on the lives of children and families in need this holiday season.”

Raymond James is supporting the two community-focused charities with a portion of the event and silent auction sales. There are just a few tickets remaining.

Help us change lives in our community for the better by purchasing a ticket or donating a silent auction item
