Child approached by stranger in West Kelowna: RCMP

RCMP are appealing for witnesses after a case of stranger danger in West Kelowna.

A nine-year-old walking home from school in the 1500 block of Gregory Road in West Kelowna was allegedly approached by a stranger yesterday, June 13, between 2 and 4 p.m. in what police are calling a suspicious incident.

The person grabbed the child by the shoulder, but they took off and ran home, telling an adult about what happened, according to an RCMP media release.
