Cheap gas gone in Okanagan but prices fall in Kamloops
It was just five days ago that the price of a litre of regular gasoline was as low as $1.29.9 in Salmon Arm and $1.35.9 in Vernon.
Those good times are now gone with the price of gas in the Okanagan jumping by more than 20 cents a litre in some cities.
That’s not the case in Kamloops where gas is down to $1.52.9 from $1.68.9 last week at most stations, according to GasBuddy.com.
Penticton’s gas prices stayed the same at $1.49.9.
Vernon prices took a 23-cent jump to $1.58.9.
Salmon Arm prices are up 15 cents to $1.44.9 but are still a few cents lower than Costco in Kelowna ($1.46.9) and Kamloops ($1.48.9).
Gas prices in Vancouver have also gone up by about 20 cents per litre from last week but prices in Abbotsford have stayed the same, so far.
