The Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce is changing how it works and hopes a new logo and colour scheme will get the work the attention it needs.

PENTICTON - Changing your furniture won't catch the eye of your neighbours but a new coat of paint might get them to knock on your door.
That's the reaction the Penticton and Wine Country Chamber of Commerce is hoping for with its new logo and colour scheme. General manager John Devitt says the chamber is changing how it does business and he and the chamber's board of directors expect a new look will get chamber members and others to tune in.
"The chamber has gone through big changes," and Devitt wants others to notice. "We set our target (goals) months ago and are all very excited to finally reveal all that hard work to the community."
What the new logo looks like he wouldn't say but it will be unveiled at a launch celebration next Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Penticton Wine Info Centre on Vees Drive. There'll be reveals of the new logo, a new member management database, an updated website, membership kits, and the announcement of several new events.
