May home sales up from April and year ago, Canadian Real Estate Association says

OTTAWA - The Canadian Real Estate Association says home sales for May were up 5.9 per cent from April and 4.8 per cent higher compared with a year ago. The association also said that sales for the year are forecast to reach 463,400 homes, up 1.2 per cent compared with 2013. The updated outlook compared with a forecast for sales totalling 463,700 for the year that was published in March.
