OXNARD, Calif. - The Latest on a car crash that killed three people in Oxnard (all times local):
1:50 p.m.
Oxnard police say the three people killed in an early- morning car crash were all teenagers.
Authorities say six people were in an SUV that slammed into a palm tree shortly before 4:30 a.m. Wednesday.
Police tell KABC-TV that two females died at the scene and a third died at a hospital. They ranged in age from 15 to 19 years old.
Another teenager is hospitalized in critical but stable condition. Two others, including a 15-year-old, had only minor injuries.
Police are still trying to determine what caused the SUV to crash. However, Sgt. Ricardo Vazquez says investigators believe alcohol consumption and the car's speed were involved.

KCBS-TV reports two people died at the scene and the third died at a hospital.
