Business clerk robbed at knife-point

KAMLOOPS — Police are searching for a man who robbed a business in the 100 block of 4 Avenue this afternoon.

At approximately 3:30 p.m. the man approached a lone female clerk and brandished a knife. He demanded personal items and cash from the till. The clerk was not injured.

The suspect left the store on foot and walked east on Lansdowne St. Police searched the surrounding area and attempted to track the man with a police dog. He remains at large.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian man in his 20s. He was wearing a long-sleeved black shirt, black pants and a beige hat with netting on it.
