Buddhist monastery along Kettle River in Boundary Country listed for $3M

A Buddhist monastery along the Kettle River in the Boundary region has hit the real estate market for $3,000,000.

The property at 6055 Kettle River Forestry Service Road in the Christian Valley area near Westbridge has multiple homes, cabins, and other buildings on more than 219 acres. The real estate listing says house on the property has five bedrooms and three bathrooms.

Part of the property is Agricultural Land Reserve and it has 4,500 feet of Kettle River frontage.

The property used to be called Skycliffe Monastery and was built by a Buddhist group as a retreat in 2000.

It’s about an hour from Osoyoos, and two hours from Kelowna.
