Mission Hill Family Estate winery in Kelowna is presenting Blue Rodeo, Johnny Reid and Chris Botti at its 800-seat outdoor amphitheatre this summer.

The Summer Concert Series are highly anticipated concerts and tickets are expected to sell out quickly, according to a Mission Hill Winery Estates media release, issued today, April 6. The series returns after a COVID-hiatus.

Performances include Canadian alternative country-rock band Blue Rodeo on July 9, Scottish-Canadian country star Johnny Reid on July 29, and the return of multiple Grammy Award-winning American pop and jazz instrumentalist Chris Botti on Aug. 23.

The amphitheatre was created by winery proprietor Anthony von Mandl, who is a strong supporter of the arts, to allow the unique opportunity to enjoy live music in an unrivalled setting.

“Situated on a prominent hill with majestic mountains and a scenic lake creating the perfect backdrop, guests enjoy a gorgeous evening of music, wine and cuisine at one of Canada’s premiere outdoor concert venues,” the release reads.

Tickets will be exclusively released to Mission Hill Family Estate Wine Club members, by membership tier, starting May 2 at 12 p.m. Go here to become a wine club member.

“A concert performance under the open sky at our outdoor amphitheatre is a truly unforgettable experience,” von Mandl said in the release.

“There is something extraordinarily special about this intimate hilltop location; a wonderful outdoor concert experience reminiscent of the grand performances staged at Europe’s historic open-air amphitheatres. We are thrilled to welcome these exceptional musical performers to the winery this summer.”
