Blazers Acquire Four Players, Four Draft Picks

The Kamloops Blazers were the busiest team at the WHL Trade Deadline to speed up the retooling process.

The biggest acquisition was likely the deal that saw the Blazers land 17-year-old forward Matt Revel from the Saskatoon Blades with Mitch Lipon and draft picks going the other way. Revel is a dynamic forward who already has two points in his first two games with the Blazers. To read more about this trade, CLICK HERE.

The Blazers granted 19-year-old forward Aspen Sterzer his wish of being closer to home by sending him to Red Deer in exchange for a third round draft pick and 19-year-old forward Matt Bellerive. To read more on the trade, CLICK HERE.

Finally, the Blazers made a big and unexpected move on trade deadline day. They sent 19-year-old goaltender Taran Kozun to the Seattle Thunderbirds in exchange for 18-year-old goaltender Justin Myles, 17-year-old defenseman Austin Douglas and a fourth round draft pick.
