BOSTON - Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks says Thunder forward Kevin Durant will sit out Friday night's game against Boston because of a shoulder injury.
Durant is the NBA's leading scorer, averaging 31 points per game. He has scored at least 30 points in nine consecutive games.
The Thunder are already without guard Russell Westbrook, who has been out since Christmas with a torn meniscus in his right knee.
