KELOWNA – After a weekend of snowfall, Big White Ski Resort is moving their opening date up a few days.
The Interior’s largest ski hill was originally scheduled to open last weekend but had changed opening day to Thursday, Dec. 3. Now, according to their website, Big White received 10 centimetres of fresh snow over the weekend making it possible to open on Wednesday, Nov. 30.
With an alpine base of 68 cm not all lifts will be operational and some runs will remain closed until further notice.
Lara’s Gondola will be open at 7:45 a.m. and the Ridge and Plaza chairs at 8:45 a.m.
