KAMLOOPS - Warmer temperatures are coming to Kamloops this weekend, providing good weather for all the events around the city.

Tomorrow afternoon, July 7, you can taste your way through downtown Kamloops with local eateries offering samples. According to the Taste of Downtown's event page, starting at noon a fundraiser for the Downtown Food Bank Fun and Artisans Alive Music Program will begin.

You can purchase five sample tokens for $20 from the Kamloops Central Business Improvement Association at 3 Avenue and Victoria Street, and you can taste food from some of the participating restaurants. At the end you can vote for your favourite taste and the winning restaurants will be presented with awards.

For full details on the event, go here.

As always in the summer months, the downtown farmers' market will be set up along St. Paul Street beginning at 8:30 a.m. tomorrow. In the evening after 4 p.m. you can head to the Dallas Barnhartvale farmers' market as well, off of Todd Road.

For beer lovers who want to learn more about the drink they love, the Atlas of Beer seminar will be held at Red Beard Cafe on Sunday starting at 6:30 p.m.

Author Mark Patterson will be stopping by to sell copies of his National Geographic book and will walk through the histories of Pilsner, Stout, IPAs, Sours, Belgian Ales and more. For $15 you can get eight three-ounce beers to enjoy through the evening.

Every evening this weekend, and this summer, you can head down to Riverside Park for Music in the Park to enjoy a free concert.
