Four people wounded in shooting at Richmond, BC banquet hall

RICHMOND, B.C. - Four people are in hospital after being shot at a banquet hall in Richmond, B.C.

The shooting reportedly occurred at about 9 p.m. during a union gathering at the Riverside Banquet Hall (on River Road near Number Six Road).

The RCMP has yet to release any details, but unconfirmed reports suggest at least one person may be in critical condition.

One unidentified witness spoke to a Vancouver radio station and reported hearing around eight shots being fired.

There is no word yet on a suspect or possible motive. (News1130)
