KELOWNA - Big White Ski Resort's reputation as a world class vacation destination was evident when an Australian television network team showed up today to shoot segments for their breakfast television show.

The crew was from Channel 7, the country's highest rated network. The segments show Sunrise morning show weather presenter Edwina Bartholomew out on the Happy Valley skating rink, testing her strength on the 60 foot ice tower located in the Happy Valley Adventure Park and driving a Zamboni.

On a related note, United Airlines has added a new non-stop service from Australian cities to Los Angeles with a seamless connection from Los Angeles to Kelowna.
