TRENTON, N.J. - The Latest on New Jersey's efforts to attract Amazon's second headquarters (all times local):

Gov. Chris Christie's top deputy says she "enthusiastically" backs his effort to attract Amazon's second headquarters to New Jersey.
Kim Guadagno is the Republican nominee for governor in the Nov. 7 race to succeed the term-limited Christie.
Christie wrote a letter to Guadagno and Democratic candidate Phil Murphy asking them to sign on to his efforts to attract the company, which has said it's seeking a second headquarters.
Guadagno's campaign says she hand delivered her letter on Tuesday. Her letter doesn't say whether she specifically backs Christie's calls for new legislation, including tax credits that would carry forward for five decades.
Murphy's campaign hasn't responded to a request for comment.

Republican Gov. Chris Christie wants the Democratic and GOP candidates vying to succeed him to help New Jersey land Amazon's second home.
The Associated Press obtained a letter Tuesday from Christie to Democrat Phil Murphy and Republican Lt. Gov. Kim Guadagno. He asked them to sign onto his efforts to get the company to locate here.
Christie writes that he wants a response by Friday. He proposes new legislation to attract the company, including by removing geographic restrictions on incentive programs aimed at attracting business in the state.
Christie points out that Amazon's hunt for a second headquarters coincides with a governor's race and says it will be important for the company to know the next governor is committed.
Messages left Wednesday with Murphy and Guadagno weren't immediately returned.
