Annual Teddy Bear Toss night, wicked Wednesday at SOEC

PENTICTON – On Wednesday, December 4, don’t come “bear-handed” to the South Okanagan Events Centre (SOEC), for the Penticton Vees’ Annual Teddy Bear Toss, in support of the Salvation Army. The Vees will face-off against the Merritt Centennials with a 7 p.m. puck drop.

Wait, there’s more! It’s also “Wicked Wednesday” at the SOEC, as tickets are just $5 and ice old beer is just $2.50! That’s right, we’ve coined it “Wicked Wednesday” at the SOEC, as tickets for all ages are just $5 and beer is just $2.50. Keep the magnet from your “Bottoms Up” beer cup for $10 in free slot or table match play at the Penticton Lake City Casino.

Remember to bring an arm full of new stuffed toys to shower the ice with when the Vees score their first goal.  Salvation Army volunteers will be on hand to collect toys on the ice and distribute them to deserving families. Help give children the “bear-necessities” this holiday season!

The $5 tickets for “Wicked Wednesday” are available at the Valley First Box Office (at the SOEC) from 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday.
