DIERKS BENTLEY ANNOUNCES SECOND YEAR OF SEVEN PEAKS MUSIC FESTIVAL

NASHVILLE (AP) — Dierks (DURKS) Bentley is calling in a favour with Luke Bryan. Bentley says because he played Bryan's Crash My Playa event, Bentley asked Bryan to play his Seven Peaks Music Festival in Buena Vista, Colorado, this year. Bryan agreed. Bentley says he's thrilled that he gets to stage the festival for a second year, since he did not make any money off last year's festival. He says most festivals take three or four years to turn a profit. Being in charge has its privileges, though. Bentley says he's having a '90s Country night simply because he wants to hear Travis Tritt and Diamond Rio. Other performs at the festival, set for Labor Day weekend, include Maren Morris, Jon Pardi, the Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Deana (DEE'-nah) Carter and Tracy Lawrence.
