KELOWNA - High tech helper Accelerate Okanagan has developed a new strategic plan and is looking for a chief executive officer to carry it out.

The organization, which bills itself as a “tech accelerator,” was under the leadership of Raghwa Gopal until he left to become president and CEO of Innovate B.C. in February. He was replaced, on an interim basis by Brea Lake.

“We’ve set some big and audacious goals,” Lake said in a news release. “In the next five years, Okanagan tech will have an economic impact of $5 billion.”

The organization has hired LoveHR to conduct a nation-wide search for its new CEO.
