A mixed bag of weather this weekend in the Okanagan

OKANGAN - The weekend will start out cloudy with some sunshine poking through on Sunday.

Environment Canada is calling for a mainly cloudy day in the Okanagan today, April 27, with a 60 per cent chance of showers and a high of 14 Celsius. There is a 30 per cent chance of shower this evening. It will be partly cloudy overnight with a low of 3 C.

Tomorrow things will brighten up a bit with a mix of sun and cloud and highs around 18 C. In the South Okanagan expect a northwest wind at 20 km/h gusting to 40 km/h. Overnight, temperatures will plummet up about 18 degrees with a low of 0 C.

The forecast calls for a cloudy Saturday with a high of 15 C. It will be cloudy with a 60 per cent chance of showers overnight and a low of 3 C.

Sunday may be the day to go out and play, with a mix of sun and cloud and high of 15 C. Expect cloudy periods overnight with a low of 4 C.

The sunshine will stick around into next week with a high of 22 C forecast for Wednesday.

Normal temperatures for this time of year in the Okanagan are highs of about 17 C and lows around 5 C.
