A few sunny days in Kamloops before showers arrive

KAMLOOPS - We’re going to have a couple more days of nice weather in Kamloops before showers arrive.

Environment Canada expects today, June 5, to be quite a nice day, with sunny skies and a high of 26 Celsius. This evening it’ll drop significantly, to 10 C, with a few clouds in the sky.

Tomorrow might even be nicer, as the day will start with a mix of sun and cloud before it clears up in the afternoon. Highs of up to 29 C are expected. It’ll stay clear overnight and the temperature will drop to about 15 C.

Wednesday will be hot, with a high of 31 C, but it will get cloudier as the day progresses as a new weather system starts to arrive. It will be cloudy with a low of 18 C overnight.

Thursday is the first day of a few days with some showers expected. The forecast to reach a high of 23 C, but there’s also a 70 per cent chance of showers. Overnight it’ll drop to 14 C with the chance of showers continuing.

Friday things won’t improve. A high of 20 C is predicted with a 60 per cent chance of showers. Those showers will again continue over night when it drops to 13 C.

The weekend is currently forecast to be grey, with showers Saturday and clouds continuing through Sunday.

Normal temperatures for this time of year in Kamloops are highs of about 24 C and lows around 11 C.
