An Alberta man was arrested in Lake Country yesterday and later charged with the second-degree murder of a 35-year-old woman whose body was found last week with her car in Kootenay National Park.
Philip Toner, 41, was charged with one count of second degree murder in relation to the homicide of Brenda Ware. Ware was known to be from Didsbury, Alberta and travelled to Kootenay National Park, where her vehicle and body were discovered, RCMP said in a press release.
