  • Pandosy Street traffic disruptions near Kelowna General

    KELOWNA - Beginning tomorrow, May 30, between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m., motorists can expect delays along Pandosy Street from K.L.O. Road to Royal Avenue for road resurfacing.

    There is also a planned closure of Pandosy Street’s northbound lane beginning Sunday evening, June 12. Southbound traffic and emergency access to the hospital will be maintained throughout the project.
  • Fender’s supports Okanagan College in carrying on rich history of trades training

    A local automotive business owner has made a major donation to Okanagan College to ensure that one of the Valley’s economic engines doesn’t stall out as veteran tradespeople retire in the coming years.

    Fender’s Automotive Center in West Kelowna has pledged $50,000 to support upgrades underway in the College’s Collision Repair shop. The shop is currently being upgraded as part of the $33-million, 10,000 sq.

    Overlanders Bridge Rehabilitation Project (Week of Aug 23)
    - With the re-opening of the south west off ramp, all southbound passenger vehicles and buses traveling downtown are now detoured through a temporary bypass that was constructed off the south west ramp. All southbound heavy trucks must detour through Mission Flats intersection (detour signs are in place) or travel up Summit Drive. Traffic control signage and personnel are in place.
