  • The hills are alive with the Sounds of Peachland

    UBC FACULTY, STUDENTS TEAM WITH ARTISTS FOR PROJECT AND COMMUNITY WORKSHOP

    Close your eyes and listen. While you walk around and up and down the hills and alleys and avenues of Peachland, what do your ears tell you?  What rustles? What squeaks?  What rattles? What beeps?

    Join local artist Debbie Elliott and UBC faculty and students for a free community workshop on Saturday, April 12, from 10 a.m. to noon.  The group will meet at the Gazebo in Centotaph Park.
  • 11th Annual Kids of Steel Triathlon

    Sunday, June 16th marks the 11th Annual Kamloops Kids of Steel Triathlon. This City of Kamloops hosted event boasts up to 200 participants each year and has grown to be one of the best Kids of Steel events in Western Canada. Come out and volunteer and cheer on these kids as they swim, run and bike this Fathers Day!

    The Kids of Steel Triathlon takes place at the Brocklehurst Recreation Centre.
