    Kelowna City Hall will be closed for the holidays from Monday, Dec. 25, through Monday, Jan. 1, 2018, reopening and returning to regular hours on Tuesday, Jan. 2.

  • United Way CSO celebrates community contributors to 2016 campaign

    United Way CSO celebrated the 2016 campaign at Hanna’s on the Waterfront last week. Over 100 community leaders, corporate sponsors, media partners, workplace campaign contributors, volunteers and funded partners were treated to an evening of appreciation thanks to sponsor, Your Dollar Store with More.

    As a result of the annual fundraising efforts and provincial funding, a total of $1.45 Million will be invested in the Central and South Okanagan/Similkameen communities this year.

  • Kelowna City facility holiday hours

    Kelowna City Hall will be closed for the holidays from Monday, Dec. 26, 2016 through Monday, Jan. 2, 2017.

    Essential City services such as police, fire, water, wastewater treatment and snow removal will remain in operation.

    “The City is able to reduce hours over the holidays, since few people do business at City Hall during this time,” said Stu Leatherdale, Human Resources & Corporate Performance Divisional Director.
  • Parkers to fundraise for Pathways Addictions Resource Centre

    PENTICTON - With the rash of drug overdoses in Penticton and an ongoing concern for the well-being of the community, Parkers will be donating $100 for every vehicle sold and $10 for every oil change service during the month of December to Pathways Addictions Resource Centre.  The fundraising effort will be in memory of Colin Parker, the late son of Parker’s owner Janet Parker, who passed away in early October.
