    Ten years of fundraising is being marked with this year’s theme “Dancing Through the Decades” along with a showcase of past alumni and all the glitz and glamour the signature event has become known for.
  • RDCO Christmas-New Year’s Closures

    <p>All services and programs provided from offices in the Regional District of Central Okanagan on KLO Road in Kelowna will be closed from Monday, December 25th through Monday, January 1st. </p><p>During this time any emergencies involving Regional District water systems should be directed to 250-868-5299. Payments, business license renewals or new license purchases may be made online while the office is closed at <a href="http://www.regionaldistrict.com/payments">www.regionaldistrict.com/payments</a>.</p><p>We look forward to serving you again at 8:00 am Tuesday, January 2nd.</p><p>This year curbside waste collection is affected during the Christmas-New Year’s holiday period. There won’t be any collection on either Christmas Day, Monday the 25th or New Year’s Day, Monday the 1st of January. As a result, curbside pick-up moves ahead one day during the last week of December and first week of January. During these weeks only, residents who normally have collection on Monday should put their carts at the curb on Tuesday. Tuesday collection will be on Wednesday, Thursday collection on Friday and Friday pick-up will take place on Saturday December 30th and Saturday, January 6th. The weekday collection schedule returns to normal on Monday, January 8th. View <a href="http://regionaldistrict.com/recycle">regionaldistrict.com/recycle</a> for details.</p><p>The <a href="https://www.regionaldistrict.com/your-services/waste-reduction-office.aspx">Westside Residential Waste Disposal and Recycling Centre</a> on Asquith Road in West Kelowna will be closed on Christmas Day Monday, December 25th and New Year’s Day Monday, January 1st.</p><p>The <a href="https://www.regionaldistrict.com/your-services/waste-reduction-office/disposal-locations/traders-cove-transfer-station.aspx">Traders Cove Transfer Station</a> just off Westside Road is not affected this year by holiday closures. The <a href="https://www.regionaldistrict.com/your-services/waste-reduction-office/disposal-locations/north-westside-road-transfer-station.aspx">North Westside Road Transfer Station</a> on the Whiteman Creek Forest Service Road will be closed Christmas Day (Monday, December 25th) and New Year’s Day Monday, January 1st.</p><p>The<a href="https://www.regionaldistrict.com/your-services/parks-services/environmental-education-centre-for-the-okanagan-(eeco).aspx"> Environmental Education Centre for the Okanagan</a> (EECO) in <a href="https://www.regionaldistrict.com/your-services/parks-services/parks-and-trails/23-mission-creek-regional-park.aspx">Mission Creek Regional Park</a> will be closed Saturday, December 23rd through Tuesday, December 26th and Saturday, December 30th through Monday, January 1st. ‘Story Time at the EECO’ will not be held on Tuesday, December 26th.
