    The City of Kelowna’s new waste compactor is helping the Glenmore Landfill think long-term by being environmentally and economically accountable. The state-of-the-art compactor will increase the life expectancy of the landfill by 10 to 14 years as it delivers maximum compaction in minimum time.

    “Our new compactor uses the latest technology in waste management equipment which contributes to more efficient landfill operations,” says Ken Muller, Solid Waste Supervisor.
