Just launched: A brand refresh and new look for Evolve Cellars, Chronos and McWatters Collection wines. New owners Ron and Shelley Mayert wanted to celebrate their addition to the McWatters family by redesigning the label design for McWatters and Evolve Cellars lines and launching a new line called Chronos, aptly named after the Greek primordial god of time.

The Chronos line will include Chronos Chardonnay, Riesling, Rosé, Sémillon, Sauvignon Blanc, and the red blend Ouroboros. This 2020 vintage is the first official vintage for winemaker Lynzee Schatz.

In other news, the Time Family of Wines announced the opening of its satellite tasting room at the new buzzed-about District Wine Village in Oliver this fall. The Village will have 16 artisan producers including TIME Family of Wines involved in this one of a kind experience.

The TIME winery location in downtown Penticton is also reopening its onsite restaurant with a new name, Orolo.

“We hope the fans of TIME wines are excited about Chronos and that you all come to see our new space when Orolo and The District Village location open its doors," Christa-Lee McWatters, general manager of TIME Family of Wines says. "We are looking forward to what is to come.”

2020 Chronos Rosé $24.99

Enhanced notes of candy and less pronounced aromas of white pepper. Palate is dry, bright, light and fruit forward. This rich Rosé shows notes of red crunchy fruit: watermelon, strawberry, and raspberries.

Hand-sorted and de-stemmed into the press where the fruit was held for 5 hours before pressing was started. Made from 100% Syrah, split into two batches and fermented separately with different varietally enhancing yeast strains. Blended together post ferment.
