As a small batch producer, Heaven's Gate Winery has quickly become known for its top quality varietals. At the 2021 All-Canadian Wine Championships, Heaven's Gate was a standout, producing a double gold medal winner for its 2019 Maréchal Foch and two gold medals for its 2018 Malbec and the 2019 Maréchal Foch, while the 2018 Gamay Noir was awarded the silver medal.

Owner and vintner Tyson Felt consistently produces wine with unwavering passion and dedication.
"Working in the vineyard and growing grapes is a very satisfying process," Felt says. "I really enjoy all the different aspects of the business—aside from the paperwork, of course. I hope my wines bring joy and great shared experiences to people’s lives.”

Heaven’s Gate Winery has not only a varied selection of outstanding wines, which you can sample in their tasting room, but it also offers a delightful summer experience—visit on Sundays in June, July and August from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. for live music. The winery's gorgeous outdoor setting provides the perfect backdrop for a lazy afternoon of sipping wine and listening to some of the best local musicians. At the same time, you can take advantage of the "bring your own picnic" patio. Just bring your picnic basket from home and savour a selection of Heaven Gate's award-winning wines with your lunch.
