A Facebook posting says the Tiki Bar at Lake Okanagan Resort is for lease for $10,000 a month, although the price is negotiable.

The listing was posted by the Facebook profile of Kevin Chu on a Facebook Marketplace site.

“A unique business space located in the Lake Okanagan Resort, which hosts a significant amount of guest volume during the summer,” the posting says. “The unit features a Tiki bar located in the central beach area of the resort and faces the lake directly.”

A valid liquor licence can be provided and the term is from May 1 to Sept. 30 for three to five years.

“Since this location is within the resort, we are looking forward to have someone who is experienced to run the business, where it can provide food service for our guests, meanwhile the customer volume at the resort can profit the business too,” the listing says.

Since some of the business terms are confidential it’s suggested it would be better to discuss those in person.

The posting says it was listed four days ago.

The Tiki Bar opened in the summer of 2020 when Ryan Hargreaves, Chris Strong and Andrew Jacek took on the lease for food services at the resort.
