The Okanagan's most fun touring company - Beach Bum Tours

The Okanagan summer conjures images of beachy fun and adventures under the hot sun. This is the spirit that Krystina Rossworm of Beach Bum Tours captured in her company’s vibe when she decided to manifest her passion for showing off the Okanagan to friends and family into an actual business.

Beach Bum Tours combines beach life with our Okanagan wine life and adventure, offering super fun tours by shuttle or by boat.

The cool retro-looking shuttles feature a surfboard on top and classic ‘woody’ exterior with their “Get in the Van” slogan plastered on the side. The tour names say it all: Zip and Sip combines ziplining and wine tours, Surf and Sip starts with a wakeboard lesson before wine touring and the Pole and Pinot Tour? Yup, you guessed it – pole dancing class before touring the Pinots of Lake Country or the Westside Wine Trail. On the SUP and Sip tour you will learn to stand-up paddleboard (SUP) on stunning Kalamalka Lake. Take a 2-hour water tour with instructions (if needed) in partnership with Kalavida Surf Shop. The tour includes lunch at a local winery or picnic lunch in the vineyards before a 4-hour wine tour of Lake Country’s famous wineries. They also offer pick up and drop off from Vernon to Kelowna.

And there is more! The Beach Bum pontoon boat adds a whole new fun touring option to the Okanagan. Get on board with Captain Amos and a group of friends to sip wine, suntan, relax, dance, swim and fully immerse yourself into the Okanagan lifestyle. There is a BBQ on deck too, so lunch or dinner are an option. The Booze and Boat Cruise Tour combines a 3-hour Pontoon Boat cruise on Wood Lake and a wine tour of 3-4 of Lake Country’s Scenic Sip wineries.
