As we all try to process the numerous changes being imposed to reduce the spread of the coronavirus, businesses are trying to adapt to meet new needs and even help the community.
Add Summerhill Pyramid Winery to the list of locals offering solutions during this time of crisis. The Cipes family has announced a new service offering family-sized Organic Hot Meals To Go and Mini Organic Grocery. The mini-grocery will offer items like organic meats, produce and frozen entrees.
“We are doing family dinners to go, which can be ordered by web or phone and picked up curbside," says Ezra Cipes. "In addition, Chef Jeremy Luypen has added local and organic grocery offerings to help you with your daily needs. This includes frozen entrees and soups, and a selection of fresh organic produce and portioned organic proteins.”
Customers first need to order their meal selections and grocery items online (click here). Pickup is available between noon and 8 p.m. On arrival to their parking lot, call 250-764-8000 ext 130, and one of Summerhill’s team will bring your order to your car.
They are also currently working on a delivery system as well.
“If you are struggling to find food items locally, please email Chef Jeremy firstname.lastname@example.org and he will try to add your needs to the list,” Cipes says.
Summerhill is also offering special deals on wine and shipping on all orders of six bottles or more is now complimentary. And when you create an account on their website, 10% of your order will be credited to your account as Gratitude Points, for use on any future order.
There is also a special Hunker Down Wine Care Package, featuring a selection of Summerhill’s favourite feel-good wines at a special, discounted price on offer.
