South Okanagan wine producer looking for love on new reality TV show
A 25-year-old Okanagan wine producer is looking for love and hoping to find it on reality TV.
Farming for Love, a new series airing on CTV, will see Canadian farmers searching for their soulmates through challenges, one-on-one dates and through living and working together, according to CTV.
Farmer Charley, who works as a wine producer on his parents farm in Keremeos, said in a CTV video he admires his grandparents’ relationship as they’ve been together for more than 60 years.
The 6'1" tall, ambitious second-generation farmer said he’s built his own house and sees himself with a future wife and children living in the home.
“If I met the right person, I’d for sure like to be married within the next five years,” he said.
He’s looking for someone who is “reliable, sensible, and has a good sense of humour to share experiences with, and go on adventures,” and is ideally around the same age.
“I know the most romantic thing I will do in my life is in my future, not in my past.”
Applications are currently open for contestants to fall in love with one of the show’s farmers.
Filming will happen in September and October.
